E-book

The e-book (electronic book, digital book) is a book-like publication in a digital form. Electronic books are usually similar to their paper equivalents as far as their structure (chapters, pages, paragraphs) and media used (text, images) are concerned, however they are readable on electronic devices (a computer, tablet, e-book reader).
New technological advances of e-book readers have enabled to enrich their content with interactive elements and multimedia (e.g. movies), which may considerably influence the way we use them.
